Our Story

SafeSphere Digital & Cybersecurity Education Initiative (SDCEI) formerly Cybersecurity Corner was founded to address the growing need for accessible digital security education among marginalised communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Recognising the unique challenges these communities face ranging from digital exclusion to heightened security risks—SDCEI emerged as a response to empower communities and organisations with practical knowledge and holistic solutions. Rooted in a commitment to inclusivity, collaboration, and empowerment, our journey began with a simple mission: To create safer, more informed digital spaces for all.

We are driven by our mission

To create an inclusive online community that promotes digital and cybersecurity awareness and provides accessible education, resources, and support to marginalised groups across Sub-Saharan Africa.
